October 28th-Oct 30th, 2022

Fort Wayne, IN

There is a limited number of spots available per class. Enroll now before classes are sold out!

We will cover a vast amount of information on dry needling.

  • You will learn about the origin and history of dry needling.
  • You will have a greater understanding of the physiology involved in myofascial trigger point needling and how it assists in the rehabilitation process.
  • You will learn and implement the safety protocols and precautions with the technique including a vast understanding of the underlying anatomy to avoid bodily harm to the patient when performing dry needling.

The majority of the course is lab-based and we will be covering how to perform dry needling on 60 of the most common muscles in the human body.

This course DOES NOT just cover upper extremity or lower extremity like most courses do, you will be provided with the education, technique and confidence to treat each body region with confidence all in ONE COURSE!

The philosophy of the course is a gradual progression of responsibility (also known as I do, we do, you do). We will be learning 2-4 muscle groups at a time which will include the anatomy, referral patterns, safety precautions, demonstration, practice with a partner one-on-one, and be observed by the instructor while performing the technique. You will have a lot of time to develop your kinesthetic ability on how to palpate trigger points and deliver effective treatment via dry needling that will change your patients’ lives!

At the conclusion of the course, you will be provided the necessary certification approved by the American Physical Therapy Association to perform Dry Needling in the state of Indiana.
